WHO WE ARE
Felix & Agnes Ukwuije Foundation (FAUF) is non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides; or links with other NGO to provide services to their immediate community for charitable, educational, health, scientific, cultural, sports, and religious purposes.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The focus of the FAUF activities is to:
- Produce educational, art and cultural programs aimed at heritage preservation
- Reduce poverty through economic empowerment of youths, women, men, and the disadvantaged members of the community using workforce development
- Promote indigenous media production, African arts, cultural, and talent exchange programs
- Promote information communication technology including digital knowledge transfer and information management
- Promote individual and public health, wellness, and safety practices towards universal health coverage and health security
- Promote academic and professional excellence through development of education, science, scholarships, and other awards.
- Promote the development of sports and recreation in communities especially in the rural areas.
- Reduce hunger and stimulate economic development through promotion of agriculture and food security
- Promote the religious and spiritual wellbeing of community members and the society at large
- Promote overall youth development for social stability and community sustainability,
- Promote equity and human right including protection of people with disability and provision of care for the poor and vulnerable in the society
- Promote the protection of the environment, natural resources, climate and green business.
